The Kanye West protégé stars with model Andreea Diaconu in the clip which premiered Tuesday. She wears what Vogue calls “summer 2016’s best swimwear” to the music and lyrics of “Panda” as he appears with her in a variety of scenes through New York City.
In describing his fashion style, Desiigner tells Vogue, “You can catch me in whatever’s funky, whatever’s got that swag. If it’s got that swag, I’m putting it on.”
As the 19 year old rapper prepares to release his debut studio album, he’s hoping for a major collaboration. When asked if he’s competing with a superstar rapper from Toronto, he says, “Drake doesn’t have competition, but we’d definitely sound nice on a track.”
