The veteran rap group — consisting of Posdnous, Dave and Maseo — was seeking to raise $110,000 for the project, but within a day they surpassed $275,000 from more than 4,500 backers.
De La confirmed the news via Twitter. “Ya’ support has been overwhelming! Becuz of YOU, there will be a new De La album released this year! Spread the word!” they tweeted. “We Love Y’all! You made it happen!”
The set, which will include contributions from 2 Chainz, is expected in September.
