Dallas SWAT has been called to the scene where a possible active shooter was reported in the Victory Park area.

Residents at the Vista Apartments complex in the 2300 block of N. Houston were warned to stay inside their residences through an email.
According to sources, a 45-year-old man is barricaded on the fifth floor of the building.
“We are dealing with an emergency situation at this time,” read an email from Vista Management. “There is an armed individual onsite and the police are actively attempting to control the situation. Please REMAIN INSIDE YOUR APARTMENTS until further notice.”
The nearby Perot Museum, W Hotel, Dallas Aquarium, Lunar Prep Academy and Booker T. Washington has been locked down and the House of Blues has closed.
Northbound Houston and Lamar streets have been closed.
