Kid Cudi has landed a starring role in the upcoming film James White, but he’s also scoring the movie, according to Complex. This will mark Cudi’s first venture into feature film scoring.
On screen, the rapper will be joined by Christopher Abbott, Cynthia Nixon and Ron Livingston in what’s being described as a “frenetic coming of age story about a young New Yorker struggling to take control of his reckless, self-destructive behavior in the face of momentous family challenges.”
While the film has wrapped production, its release date has yet to be announced.
Cudi has previously starred in the HBO series How to Make it in America and recently in the feature film Need for Speed.
