Kid Cudi has added another acting credit to his resume. The rapper-turned-actor has landed a role the upcoming Entourage movie, according to Deadline.com.
The rapper has been tapped to portray character Ari Gold’s new assistant in the film adaptation of the HBO series, which will include all main cast members. Cudi’s as-yet-unnamed character scored the job after Gold’s old assistant Lloyd, played by Rex Lee, was promoted to rep.
The highly anticipated film will see Cudi re-teaming with Entourage executive producer Mark Wahlberg, who was executive producer on the show that gave Cudi his first acting role, How to Make It in America, which also aired on HBO back in 2010.
While the Entourage movie is still in production, Cudi recently wrapped filming on DreamWorks’ video game adaptation Need for Speed, which arrives in theaters on March 14.
Fans can also expect to see the rapper starring in two additional films, James White and Two Night Stand.
