Not long after Ciara and Future announced their engagement, which occurred during her 28th birthday celebration in New York City over the weekend, details about her 15-carat engagement ring have surfaced online.
People magazine reports that the singer’s sparkler, officially named “Past Present and Future Emerald Cut Diamond Ring,” cost more than half a million dollars, according to the jewelry retailer Avianne & Co.
“The ring is a very intricate design which took longer to actually design than it did to produce,” a rep for Avianne & Co. tells the mag. “We went through several molds and concept models before landing on the proper design, which allowed for maximum shine and stability in the diamonds. This vision of blending ring styles together allowed for a very unique ring.”
Like Ciara, Kim Kardashian also was given a 15-carat engagement ring from her soon-to-be-husband, Kanye West, earlier this month.
