Ciara will be performing for the first time in 2014 at the Grammy Awards After-Party, which means she’s working up a sweat in rehearsals. As a part of Degree Women’s DO:MORE Campaign, the singer is giving fans a firsthand look into the process of preparing for the upcoming event in a promotional video.
“It’s the most prestigious night in music, it’s the biggest award show event you can be apart of,” she says before doing choreography. “To get ready for a night like this, you have to work really hard. You can’t hold back. I’m a perfectionist…the more practice, the better.”
She adds, “To be physically fit to prepare for my performances, I train really hard. You gotta have the endurance for all the moves you’re gonna make. You gotta have the endurance for, not only dancing, but also singing at the same time because you only get that one shot.”
Boyz II Men and DJ Michelle Pesce are scheduled to join Ciara at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Sunday, January 26 immediately following the 56th Annual Grammy Awards telecast on CBS.
