Image Courtesy Epic RecordsCiara is certainly enjoying motherhood. The singer has shared adorable footage of her seven-month-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn, taking his first swimming lesson.
In the brief Instagram clips, Ci Ci’s only child can be seen floating on his own as his swimming instructor guides him through the water. “My Babies 1st Swimming Classes! #ThisMakesMeSoProud#TheseAreTheMomentsILiveFor #GoBabyFuture,” Ciara wrote in the caption.
Aside from giving us a glimpse into her family life, Ciara wants to bring awareness of how to avoid infant drowning. “Something Ive Learned That All Moms Should Know….The First Step Is Your Baby Knowing What To Do If They Fall In The Water… Baby Futures 1st Phase Of Being In The Water Is Called #InfantAquaticSurvival,” she explained. “It’s So Hard To Watch Sometimes Because He Gets Challenged By The Water, But It’s The Best Feeling To See Him Accomplish It! #ProudMamma.”
Although she’s balancing her mommy duties, Ciara hasn’t lost sight of her upcoming album, the follow-up to her self-titled disc, which spawned her smash single “Body Party.” Late last year, she informed fans: “I’ve been having so much fun making my new album,” she says before adding, “It’s all about the new album.”
