Eliot Lee Hazel/RCA RecordsChris Brown‘s probation in his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna has ended.
His probation ended Friday after a Los Angeles judge determined the singer officially completed his community service requirements.
Chris reportedly posted a tweet, since deleted, that read, “IM OFF PROBATION!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord!!!!!!”
Chris pleaded guilty to felony assault in June of 2009 in connection with the attack on Rihanna. He had his fair share of problems in the ensuing years; for example, he was accused of assaulting a man outside of a Washington, D.C. hotel in 2013. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in that case last September and was sentenced to time served.
