Chris Brown has become the latest singer to cover Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me.” However, unlike Mary J Blige and Luke James‘ recent renditions, Brown has added humorous lyrics to the heartfelt song.
The singer shared his cover via Instagram, garnering over 246,000 likes so far.
“Oh won’t you stay with me/’Cause I bought your new weave,” sings Breezy. “Now I done spend my cheese/Bitch owe me.”
Last week, the singer also showed off his vocal range by covering D’Angelo‘s “How Does It Feel,” as well as an acoustic version of his DJ Khaled-produced song, “Hold You Down.”
Brown’s oft-delayed album, X, will finally arrive September 16.
