Chris Brown has filed a defamation countersuit against Deanna Gines, the 24-year-old woman who alleged that Chris shoved her outside Heat Ultra Lounge in Califonia last June, according to TMZ.
In court documents cited by the website, Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, claims that the singer never touched Gines, since he was surrounded by security the entire night. Brown also alleges that Gines was “heavily intoxicated and falling over herself in a drunken stupor throughout the night,” adding that witnesses observed Gines’ belligerent behavior toward club staff, screaming, “F**k y’all,” and throwing her clothing at security.
As for Gines’ claim of tearing a ligament in her right knee, Brown adds that she was walking fine the entire night and apparently “confused” about which leg was supposedly injured after the alleged incident.
Last week, Brown filed a counter suit in a separate case stemming from an alleged brawl with Frank Ocean that occurred outside a recording studio in West Hollywood earlier this year. Meanwhile, the singer is currently in rehab for anger management issues and faces separate criminal assault charges in Washington, D.C.
