Earlier this week, DMX was arrested at a Spartanburg, South Carolina airport for three traffic violations, including allegedly driving with a suspended license while en route to catch a flight.  However, even though he since has been released, the rapper cancelled a scheduled appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday during which he was to have performed with Swizz Beatz.

“Due to recent media scrutiny, DMX will not be appearing on The Wendy Williams Show this week,” the rapper’s publicist Domenick Nati said in statement to ABC News Radio Wednesday afternoon. “The team apologizes to his fans who were anticipating his performance but we are holding off on interviews and focusing on making music and organizing a world tour.”

On that latter point, DMX announced a new partnership with Suggakanz Entertainment for his upcoming international trek, which begins on November 28 in Kosovo.  The outing travels to Bulgaria and the Netherlands before wrapping up in Mexico on February 2, 2014.
