Busta Rhymes has completed anger management and pleaded guilty to reduced charges of harassment after throwing a protein drink at a gym employee back in August.
According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, the rapper, whose legal name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., was permitted to plead guilty to second degree harassment, a violation, after he completed an anger management course. He was originally charged with second-degree assault for the incident, which took place at Steel Gym on West 23 Street. The employee sustained a minor injury from when the bottle hit the back of his head.
In court Friday, prosecutors agreed to the plea following “an extensive investigation, including interviewing witnesses, viewing the video, and visiting the scene, and based on the limited nature of the injury.”
