Brooklyn Restaurant Offers Beyonce-Themed Valentine’s Day Menu

by

In honor of Valentine’s Day, an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, NY has created a special menu inspired by Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z.

Patrons who visit Brucie will be able to select from appetizers like “Blue Ivy,” which includes smoked blue potatoes, blue cheese, trout roe and watercress or “Oysters Rocafella. ”

Main entrees include “Breastiny’s Child,” a veal breast with pickled fig, sopressata and goat yogurt as well as traditional pastas like “Jay-Ziti” and “I Am Pasta Fierce.” Prices range from $16 to $32 and the menu even includes a “22 Days Vegan” appetizer as an ode to the Carter’s recent diet plan.

“We were thinking about what to do for Valentine’s Day this year, and we were like ‘Beyoncé.’ Her and Jay Z are a very inspiring love story, so it seemed perfect,” Brucie chef/owner Zahra Tangorra told ABC News. “We can play their songs all night and come up with really fun dishes. We are all really silly and we love a good pun, so we built a menu around the puns.”
