Bobby Brown’s Lawyer Issues Clarification on Condition of Bobbi Kristina

by

LifetimeAn attorney for Bobby Brown has issued a statement clarifying the singer’s comments on the condition of Bobbi Kristina, his daughter with the late Whitney Houston.

“Bobbi Kristina’s condition has changed since moving from Emory University Hospital and there has been improvement,” the attorney, Christopher Brown, revealed. “Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”

As previously reported, on Sunday, the singer announced during a concert in Dallas, “Bobbi Kristina is awake” and “she’s watching me.”  Bobbi Kristina had been unresponsive since January 31, when she was discovered unconscious in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia, home.

Brown’s current wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, also released a statement saying that her husband was in “an emotional state” when he first announced the news of his daughter’s improvements.

“She has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard,” said Alicia. “I just wish my husband could deal with this most painful and difficult time with people surrounding him who fully support and pray for Bobbi Kristina’s recovery and only her recovery.”
