Big Sean has just completed J.Cole‘s Forest Hills Drive Tour to further promote his latest album, Dark Sky Paradise. The rapper tells ABC Radio he’s still reeling after performing alongside Jay Z during his closing show last week at Crown Coliseum in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
“It was exciting, it wasn’t intimidating, it was just fun,” Sean revealed during Sunday’s MTV VMAs. “I think my whole career I’ve been working to a point where I can just have fun with it and I finally I got there, I’m just having fun man, I’m feeling great. Showing people from my city that you can be whatever you want man, for sure.”
While he joked about just wanting to sleep following an exhaustive tour, the rapper reveals that he’s already begun recording his fourth studio effort.
“We’re just happy, we’re celebrating, we’re blessed and we’re going to keep the momentum going, we’re hungry and we’re working harder than ever,” he says before adding that fans can expect “more music, new albums, new everything on the way.”
