Big Sean has been selected to take part in the 4th Annual Grammy Amplifier Program, an online music initiative, sponsored by Hyundai and The Recording Academy, which aims to mentor aspiring artists and provide them with the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The rapper will serve as one of the curators that will help select three of the 2016 winners of the Amplifer contest. To enter, you just need to upload a song to GrammyAmplifier.com before December 16. The top 25 artists with the most track plays and social media “amplifications” will move on to the semifinals. The top 25 finalists will be brought together for a mentorship experience, and then narrowed down by program curators to a short list of finalists.
“Grammy Amplifier is an amazing program that not only inspires and encourages new artists, but also provides important resources that will help throughout their musical journey,” said Sean in a statement. “The Internet is an incredible tool and I know firsthand how it can help build an artist’s career, profile and fan base.”
