Did Beyonce’s “Partition” Music Video Copy Ciara?

While posting throw back still-shots from the video, Ciara shared one Instragram image that sees her wearing an animal print skin-tight catsuit while positioning her body between a pair of bars. “TBT. LSM Video With JT. Co Directed With Diane Martel. Doing this section was crazy having to hold high up and push on the bendable bars, but was worth it!:)” she wrote in the caption.

Fans seemed to assume that Ciara was pointing out that “Partition” features similar scenes with Beyonce’s body also covered in an animal print while dancing in between thick bars at a club.

One fan wrote, “Beyoncé damn sure did copied” while another added, “Beyoncé stole the move but u still rocked it better though.”

Back in 2008, fans speculated that Beyonce copied Ciara’s 2006 hit song “Like a Boy” with her chart-topping song, “If I Were a Boy” which appears on Bey’s I Am… Sasha Fierce.
