Ryan McGinley/Beat MagazineAfter landing on the front page of Vogue and Flaunt Magazine earlier this year, Beyonce represents the U.S.A. on the cover of a relatively lesser-known, London-based magazine BEAT.
For the image, which was shot in the Hamptons, Mrs. Carter dons a red hoodie and a red-and-white-striped bathing suit while standing in front of the American flag.
While it doesn’t seem Beyonce’s appearance includes an accompanying interview, writer Michael Cragg reveals Queen Bey has already fulfilled a pipe dream for the free publication, which started in a “window-less basement in east London.”
“The cover, as you can see, encapsulates everything everyone loves about Beyoncé: (Sasha) Fierce. Unfeasibly, almost disarmingly, cool. Strong. Bold. Empowered. An American f****** idol,” writes Cragg.
The BEAT winter issue will be out October 21.
