Beyoncé fans got a treat during the opening show of the 2014 European leg of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Glasgow, Scotland, on Thursday.
Concertgoers shared video footage of the diva performing new material from her latest self-titled album, including “***Flawless,” “Blow” and “Drunk in Love,” inside the SSE Hydro Arena.
At one point, Bey reenacted the Crazy Horse burlesque show for “Partition,” which also serves as her newest single. She later gave a powerful performance of her ballad “Heaven,” which many fans believe to be inspired by Beyonce’s miscarriage before he gave birth to Blue Ivy.
Beyonce also debuted new looks for her tour opener. E! News reports her chain-strewn Chanel ankle boots alone cost $4,000, which she paired with a plaid and leather Givenchy outfit.
Up next, Beyonce’s outing will travel to Manchester, Birmingham and London, and also play three consecutive night at Dublin’s O2 on March 11, before heading to concerts around Europe and wrapping on March 27 in Lisbon, Portugal.
