Late last year, Beyonce embarked on a 22-day vegan diet for Jay Z‘s 44th birthday, which served as a “a spiritual and physical cleanse.” Now, the diva has decided to do another another 22-day challenge of eating no meat or animal products.
In her latest Instagram post, Beyonce shared an image of one of her healthy snacks, which consisted of a peanut butter and chocolate chip-flavored vegan protein bar served with sliced bananas on top. She added the hashtag, “#22daysvegan,” in the accompanying caption.
It’s possible Beyonce is looking to make this her new eating routine. After all, Jay previously explained on his Life + Times blog that “psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you’ve found the way.”
One thing’s for sure, the singer’s clean eating is paying off. Project Runway‘s Michael Costello, who designed her white gown for the Grammy Awards, told E! News that Beyonce is now down to a size 2.
