Last night in New York, J. Cole brought in his 29th birthday with a sold out concert at Madison Square Garden. He brought a few special friends along with him to celebrate and they came bearing gifts. In addition to performing fan favorites “PSA” and “F*ckwithmeyouknowigotit” Jay Z presented young Jermaine with the original Rocafella Records chain. This is probably akin to Michael Jordan giving LeBron the first pair of Jordan 1s. Ok, maybe not quite. Still dope, though. It was ALSO announced that J. Cole and Interscope Records have reached an agreement to bring his Dreamville imprint to the label, which led to the release of yesterday’s free mixtape entitled Revenge of the Dreamers.
