Future is giving fans a look at behind-the-scenes footage from his visual for “Honest,” the title track off his upcoming album of the same name.
The Collin Tiley-directed clip, complete with a sprawling mansion and luxurious cars, features LeToya Luckett starring as the leading lady. Future’s real life-girlfriend, Ciara, was spotted on set and showed support for Future’s video, which reflects the “grind” that it took to make it in the industry.
“I remember waking up going to the corner, now I’m waking up and going to video shoots…I’m not a rapper. I’m an artist,” said Future on set. “I’m bigger than a rapper. I’m an entertainer. I’m a mogul. I’m an executive. I’m a writer. I’m a producer. I’m passionate about the music. I want people to understand that Future is here to stay. I can make hits. I was born to make music.”
Future’s sophomore album, Honest, is due out on November 26 via Epic Records. Before the disc arrives, Future and Miguel are scheduled to embark on Drake‘s Would You Like a Tour, beginning September 25 in Portland, Oregon.
