He’s not top of the list, but that’s OK: he’s pulled in an estimated $60 million last year “through multi-platinum recordings, million-dollar-grossing tours and seven figure endorsements,” the magazine says. Not too bad, but Forbes also notes Drake has said he planned to earn $250 million by the time he was 29 — which he turned last October. No word on if his cumulative career earnings have met that milestone.
Check out hip-hop’s top five wealthiest artists:
1. Diddy — $750 million
2. Dr. Dre — $710 million
3. Jay Z — $610 million
4. Birdman — $110 million
5. Drake — $60 million
