Courtesy of PMK-BNCGet ready to put some flava in ya ears! Bad Boy Entertainment is celebrating their 20 year hip-hop legacy with an anniversary box set.
Called the Bad Boy 20th Anniversary Box Set Edition, the digitally remastered music collection will be released August 12 and includes a multitude of iconic hit songs on five discs, curated by Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre. Songs include “Juicy,” “Hypnotize,” “Money, Power, Respect,” “Peaches & Cream,” and “I’ll Be Missing You.” The box set also includes a 64-page glossy booklet, detailing the history of the music, media and entertainment company.
Founded by music mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, Bad Boy Entertainment carved an unprecedented path in hip-hop history for 20 years. It launched the careers of an extraordinary number of legendary hip-hop and R&B artists, including Combs himself, aka Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G, Faith Evans, Total, Ma$e, 112, Cassie, The Lox, Craig Mack and Janelle Monae.
“We wanted to thank our fans, celebrate the music, the people, and the Bad Boy lifestyle that have defined the past two decades,” Combs says of the reason for the box set. “We’ve always made music that makes people dance; this collection does all that and more, and it is a celebration of all things Bad Boy.”
The collection comes in the wake of the upcoming Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, which begins on August 25.
