Playboy/Ellen von UnwerthShe’s at it again — rapper Azealia Banks has gone on another social media tirade.
The controversial recording artist recently went on Facebook, leaving a trail of “fun facts” for her followers, such as accusing Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift of plagiarizing some of her artistic ideas.
Banks writes, “FUN FACT: Azealia Banks created her own genre of music called ‘Witch-Hop.’ 3 days after ‘Witch-Hop’ was declared by Azealia Banks to be a legitimate genre, Lady Gaga (also a fan of Azealia Banks) suspiciously titled her upcoming studio album, ‘Artpop.'”
“FUN FACT: ‘SLAY-Z’ is a nickname given to Azealia Banks by one of her fans in 2014…the nickname was lifted from her twitter account and featured as one of the characters in Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ video,” Azealia writes.
Banks finishes her diatribe by claiming she’s just misunderstood. “Azealia Banks is the most widely criticized and widely ignored artist of all time. While her equally controversial male peers are given an excess of room and public forgiveness to express themselves, Azealia Banks has been demonized by the public at large for simply……tweeting,” she states.
Azealia Banks is known for her social media gaffes, particularly on Twitter, in past years. Celebrities including Zayn Malik, Perez Hilton, Disney actress Skai Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and Sarah Palin have all engaged in past Twitter beefs with Banks.
