ABC/Lou RoccoOf the nearly 13 million people so far and counting who’ve watched Rihanna‘s new video for “Work” with Drake, there are only a small fraction of viewers who’ve pressed the dislike button on her YouTube page, and it seems Azealia Banks is among those who weren’t impressed.
Not long after the clip debuted Monday, Banks took to Twitter to critique of Rih’s reggae-inspired clip, which she felt was too reminiscent of Beyonce‘s 2002 hit, “Baby Boy.”
“Work video reminds me of baby boy video with Sean Paul except not as fly,” she tweeted and then deleted.
Banks adds: “Music is honestly so f***ing trash and boring. Let’s start a f***ing beef and make s*** interesting. All these f***ing pill popping divas doing the LEAST and the s***is boring. Get these hoes a coffee and a pair of boxing gloves.”
Rihanna’s certainly not the first artist Azealia’s criticized. Others include Iggy Azalea, Lady Gaga, Eminem and Nicki Minaj.
