Alexander Tamargo/WireImageAugust Alsina reportedly lost his cool this past Saturday and got into a brawl backstage at a concert promoting non-violence.
According to TMZ, the incident happened at the State of Emergency 2 concert at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.
Sources tell the gossip website the 22-year-old singer tangled with the show’s promoter, Loose Cannon Slim, after Slim got upset at Alsina for showing up late.
Video obtained by TMZ shows the two trading words and someone in Alsina’s entourage holding Slim back as he makes a move towards the singer.
Eventually fists start flying and Slim ends up on the ground before Alsina is finally pulled off him.
Rapper Fabolous can also be seen in the clip holding a drink as he watches the whole thing from a safe distance.
Proceeds from the State of Emergency 2 concert benefited the anti-gun violence program Put Down the Pistol.
