Ashanti is in comeback mode. The singer announced that she’s decided on the next single from her long-awaited album, Braveheart, due out March 4.
According to her label, the singer has selected “First Real Love” featuring reggae superstar Beenie Man as the third offering from the set, which will be her first album since 2008’s The Declaration. The singer is scheduled to shoot the accompanying video later this month in Jamaica.
In addition, the singer has been tapped to write music for the soundtrack and score of the forthcoming film Tupac. The film will be released by Morgan Creek in 2015.
As previously reported, the singer confirmed on Twitter that the video for “I Got It” featuring Rick Ross will premiere simultaneously on BET’s 106th and Park and Vevo on February 11.
