Andrew Benge/Redferns via Getty ImagesAngie Stone was arrested earlier this week in DeKalb County, Georgia, following an argument with her 30-year-old daughter in which she allegedly knocked out her daughter’s front teeth with a metal stand.
The R&B singer told police the argument at her home on Monday night turned physical when Diamond Stone struck her in the face, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Diamond Stone and a family friend who witnessed the incident said they weren’t sure who hit whom first.
Diamond said the altercation began after her mother ordered her to clean up her room and control her children.
At last word, Angie Stone, 53, was being held in jail on a domestic aggravated assault charge.
