Grammy.comAlicia Keys and John Legend will perform on the upcoming CBS TV special The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles, which will be taped January 27, the day after the Grammy Awards.  The special, which looks back on the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ historic appearance on the legendary variety program The Ed Sullivan Show, will feature top artists performing the songs that the Beatles performed that night, as well as other Beatles songs through the years.

John and Alicia will team up for a special performance on the show.  Other announced performers include Maroon 5, John Mayer — who’ll collaborate with country star Keith Urban for a duet — and  pioneering ’80s pop duo Eurythmics, who’ll be reuniting for the event.

More performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.  The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles will air February 9 at 8 p.m. ET, which is the exact day and time that the original Ed Sullivan performance aired.  You can buy tickets to attend the taping by calling 1-877-234-8425.
