New EP release today from Dallas-based production tandem, Booty Fade. Booty Fade consists of award-winning deejay, producer, promoter and illustrator DJ Sober and critically acclaimed producer Picnictyme. The duo, whose namesake is drawn from the popular Dallas haircut, take, “..cues from uptempo regional styles like New Orleans bounce and Baltimore club, as well as their city’s own Dallas boogie sound.” Booty Fade EP features samples of some Dallas’ most heralded hip-hop acts such as Tum Tum, Yung Nation, Dorrough and Treal Lee & Prince Rick.
