For years, we’ve witnessed 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather‘s turbulent friendship play out on social media. From a budding bromance to quick enemies, it seemed they would never speak again, especially after 50 questioned the boxer’s intelligence with that infamous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. However, it seems their friendship is now on the mend.
The rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he’s cool with Mayweather again. “THE original MONEY TEAM, you gotta love it. My brother ready,may 2 don’t get scared now,” 50 wrote in the caption to a photo of the pair standing next to each other.
We’re sure the rap mogul will show his support during “fight weekend” in Las Vegas, which will see the much-anticipated boxing match between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao on Saturday, May 2.
