ABC/Fred LeeRapper 50 Cent has just raised the bar on saying, “I’m sorry” by donating $100,000 to Autism Speaks, reports TMZ. The donation comes after backlash over an online video in which the G-Unit rapper is seen making insensitive remarks to a 19-year old with autism, Andrew Farrell..
“I want to turn this misunderstanding into an understanding,” Fiddy said in a statement to TMZ. “There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support.”
The rapper continued, “I am calling on my fellow musicians, actors, entertainers and all others who may not have fully considered this cause to join together to help in any way they can.”
